Motor Sports in India is reaching its era of flexing. Recently the sector is growing leaps and bounds, and garnering a lot of support and participation from the youth.
India stands amongst the top 5 countries in the world where highest number of motor vehicles are sold. Today’s generation is trying their hands all around different forms of motor vehicles to unleash their shackled desires to ride hard, fast and conquer adventurous undiscovered terrains. Such enthusiasm in today’s youth has lead to some ruckus like unorganized and unsafe motor vehicle competitions, growth in social media vloggers cum untrained racers, but nevertheless has also brought abundant merits like formation of updated safety rules and organized institutions to promote, guide, train and elevate the motor sports in India as well at the international level.
The credit for the rising organised motor sports in India goes to Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India ( FMSCI ) and its member Clubs.
FMSCI is the only recognized National Sports Federation ( NSF ) by The Indian Government for promoting and governance of motorsport in India and is affiliated to the Indian Olympic Association ( IOA ). It is a long-standing member of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme ( FIM ) and Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile ( FIA ), the world bodies for two, three and four-wheeler motor sport respectively. FMSCI and its member clubs organizes National and regional motor sports events around the year to bring out the best talents indulged in Motor Sports.
We are happy to announce that Nutex is associating with Bengal Motor Sports Club, a premier affiliate member club of FMSCI. Bengal Motor Sports Club, a name synonymous with the development of motor sports in Eastern India, was established in 1998 by a group of motor sporting enthusiasts and veterans to create an association and bring the much-coveted form of sports, which till then was termed as “RICH MAN’S” to the commoners and create a benchmark.
Nutex will be the energy partners in their event Dirt Crush 2.0 TSD Rally, in order to fuel the participants with adequate and instant nutrition.
To understand more about the event, let’s first briefly know about motor sports and TSD Rally.
When it comes to Motor sports, there are many varieties and format of Motor sports.
Varieties are generally classified with the different types of vehicles as per their capabilities and technical nuances, for example: F1 Car, Trucks, Sports Bikes etc., whereas format presents the different playing fields for that class of vehicle, for example: Rally Race, Regulatory Rally / TSD, Sprint etc.
Each moto sport variety and their respective formats has its own uniqueness and discipline pertaining to certain rules and regulations. Here the racers not always race directly against their competitors to reach the finishing line first, but there are other parameters on which the winning is decided depending on the Race type and format. If we go on speaking about the different motor sports it would take many more blogs to give you an idea of the sport. But we would only let you know that these varieties in Motor Sports have enabled people from any financial background to participate in the sports, as cars and bikes aren’t cheap, so is the sport.
Our event which is TSD 2W Event, also stands for Time Speed Distance Two-Wheeler Rally is a form of Regularity Rally. TSD rally, is a type of motorsport rally with the objective of driving each segment of a course (pathway) in a specified time at a specified average speed. Unlike the well-known ‘special stage rallying’ (which is commonly just called rallying), regularity rallying does not depend on the abilities of the rider to ride at high-speed nor does it depend on the speed that the vehicle can achieve. Unlike a road rally, a regularity rally focuses somewhat more on the maintenance of precise speeds and times rather than on navigation. Navigation does, however, still play an important role in regularity rallying.

Bankura has very hot climate in summer. The average temperature during summers shoots beyond 42 degrees. The rally course through undulating terrain with many hills and ridges, gradually gives way to just uneven rolling lands. The area is having a gradual descent from the Chota Nagpur Plateau. It is land of red soil and hard beds are covered with scrub jungle and sal wood.
In this terrific level of sports with toughest and discomforting weather condition to test the true mettle of riders, Nutex finds its relevance to be part of the event as the energy partner, prepared to provide energy even to the last man standing. We want to thank the stakeholders of Bengal Motor Sports Club (BMSC) to give us this opportunity to associate with them and contribute to our mutual objective to nurture the Motor Sports arena at our own capabilities. We look forward to continue our association in the years to come. And play our part to align with the goals and objectives of the federation and the club.
